Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

NavalukWhat a pain in the ass you have to go through to get that work to reno in any kind of decent shape.
Do you expect to have to fix any of the mounts to correct travel damage when you get there?

SBTI believe that last lion is the best I've ever seen!

dinsdaleYou really need to see some of Franks work to really appreciate it.
I am fortunate to be in his studio often, you just can't believe the volume and quality of the mounts going out the door.Frank has a fantastic crew, and has the back round to handle any animal with attention to detail.
I am trying to get him to post more start to finish stuff,so everyone can see the artistry both Frank, and the other taxidermists here, put in their work.
Now if I can just get him to post the hunting stories behind some of these cats.....ARRRGGG!

Mike SmithAbsolutely great work on the cats. When choosing various taxidermists for different projeccts the first thing I look at is their cats. If they can make them up to the lifelike standards such as this mounting anything else should not be a problem. I still believe that cats of any size but thespecially the big ones are the hardest thing to get right.

dinsdaleFrank will be pleased with your compliments Mike....
If you get African Hunting Gazette and read the article by Wayne Grant in the Summer 2010 issue;you will see why he can get a cat just right....lots of field experience.
Frank is the hunter shown in the article.
I have been fortunate to watch these pieces come together.
Mate, they are some of the best cat mounts i have seen very well done
