You have been causing me to remember the past lately. My family had a membership to the Field Museum for several years. I remember going to the member nights and having access to some of the areas that were not open during regular hours. This was during the time frame of the King Tut exhibit.

I haven't been to the museum for a number of years. I always try to see the lions of Tsavo when visiting.

WOW what a Sable. What a shame they were driven to near extinction or perhaps actual extinction. I wonder if we will ever see such a magnificent animal walk the Earth again?
