polar bear question
does anyone know the legalities of buyin/selling a polar bear rug? a friend of mine just showed me a picture of a polar bear rug his daughter in law bought over the weekend, and is planning to re-sell. Seems I heard at one time that wasn't a good idea. Anyone here know? Thanks

Without paperwork that can be touchy. The USF&W has strict guidelines on such sales. You probably can go to their web site and find them. Better safe than sorry. LDK

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Just talked to fish and game at SCI and they said the sales of Polor bear were illegal and an individuals could give it away or donate it but commercial sales were not allowed.

Thanks!
