I am still thinking of what to do with the finishing on the bottom of the tusks.I was thinking ele hide or something like straw or grass.

jdollarI put a 1 1/2" strip of zebra hide around the base of mine. The wooden bases have a framed cut out in them in the shape of Africa and the cut out is covered in zebra hide.
