I should have thought of this sooner, or at least before I was on page 24 in this forum... Now I'll have to go back through and see which ones I can find again.

Anyway, thought I would re-post some of the favorite mounts I've seen done here. Some of you are quite talented. I didn't want to drudge up every old post by adding in my two cents, so I thought maybe I would just make a new post.

In no specific order:

Cape Buffalo by Jerry Huffaker for Wendell:

Since I own it, I'm a bit biased. Roll Eyes But...here's another done by Chris Krueger (as is the fox above.)

This one won the following awards in the AZ State competition:

*State Champion Life Size (Best of Catagory)
*Master's Division - First Place
*Artisan's Award - most artistic piece
*McKenzie's Best Lifesize
*People's Choice Award

I'm certain that I missed some talented folks. I've been through 30+ pages here in the Taxidermy forum and I had to stop - it was giving me the "I need to go to Africa" itch REALLY bad. Big Grin

Some beautiful work here. Anthony (Maxart) is doing my Buff right now and seeing the quality of his stuff, I'm getting antsy with anticipation.
