I used to mount more half mounts in years past; they seemed to have become less popular these days. This is a Montana ram taken near Cooke City just north east of Yellowstone Park on the Wyoming border in late October. It is a unlimited, any ram permit area but they shut the season down every year as soon as just a few rams are harvested.

zhabaThats a really cool mount .I love half mounts as they take up less room and on some animals a full mount is to much,shoulder mount is not enough
