Eric, I'm actually living in N. Vriginia now- grew up in Stuart, FL and lived there until a few months ago. Lived in Deland for a few years now when I went to Stetson. The guy I hunted with lives in Ormond and I went down this weekend to visit some people and check out the hides. The smell isn't nearly as bad as he had described although he had aired them out some. Our trophies came through Miami and the shoulder mounts are at the taxidermist in Melrose (near gainesville). Thanks for the tips.

Who did your taxidermy? I used Derrick Robinson the first 2 trips and a guy in Port Elizabeth on trip 3. This last trip I sent just my capes home to get them done here.
What really stunk were the 2 jackals I had tanned and felted. Fabreez on the felt and a good airing out took care of all that.
