I tried tripod as bwana ron suggested.

Here are some bull elk, a three hour hunt in Montana with my family and a friend, Remington 700 trigger adjustment instructions, and three targets.

I posted this earlier with a different hosting site and then messed up and deleted the post trying to change the url.

Ol' Sarge,
Nice elk! And a nice gaggle of deer hunters too! Looks like you are doing your part to keep the sport alive in the next generation. Good show! I found your link in the other forum, BTW.

Thanks guys,

Man, I miss Montana, and with my allergies killing me lately, I've been threatening to move back.

The only problem with finding those two elk was a week later when I went back for early season rifle, I coudn't even find any sign of elk.

Sarge,
What cartridge are you using in the second photo? You list all the components but not the cartridge. I'm curious because I have a Remington 700 in .257 Roberts. I plan to use a similar load but I'm using IMR 4350. Based on the amount of powder in your load I would guess it is a 25-06.
