What animals are you looking for?
Most of the seasons aren't open in January for Elk, deer, bear, antelope. About all that is open is Mountain lion and predators/furbearers.

Ducks and Geese have open seasons in January, I'll have to check but I think there are a few Cow Elk hunts still on the menu that time of year.
Other than that as stated before Mountain Lion, Coyotes....

Pretty darn hard to get around in that kind of snow I suspect and elk have gone to the feeding grounds, I wouldn't think any state would allow a winter feed ground hunt, but who knows??..I hunt Colorado every year for elk on a friends ranch in Sept or Oct.

I have hunted Late Season cow elk in early January, but that was several years back and the last time I hunted there, 2013, it seems like most or all of the cow elks had changed to end in December.

I could be wrong and there maybe some January hunts still taking place, but I believe those are Draw Only.

I think there's some cow hunts that run over into Jan. Why don't you get on the CPW site and read up on it. That's the CO DoW or what it used to be called.

Only a very few over populated areas did and I've never hunted them.

Good luck,
George

If I wanted a Mt. Lion I would do a Jan/Feb hunt in the Texas Big Bend area, they have a high percentage of Lions..check with Game dept in Ft. Davis, Alpine, Marathon and Sanderson for outfitters. That's not far from where you live. Also there is no season or limit on Lions, they are considered a preditor.
