I detest Gunsamerica. I've had a few "discussions" with the owner over the years and I absolutely do my best to never use the site. OTOH gunsinternational is user and seller friendly. I like gunbroker as well.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I second gunsinternational.com, but have to disagree with gunbroker. I personally think they suck. They have been sending me an invoice for awhile now saying I owe money. When I click on the link to see WHAT I owe money for, it is unavailable. I have sent e-mail after e-mail simply asking what I owe the money for. I have never received an answer. I have sold one gun on gunbroker several years ago, and paid the fees. So, if anyone can give me contact information where I can find out why they say I owe money, I would be appreciative.

I've only bought, not sold, on GB so can't comment on your experience. However since they have become by far the largest gun selling site on the net, I would think that your experience is not the ordinary. Personally if you don't owe it, I'd ignore/delete it until and unless a live body or a real contact is made.

I use Gunbroker regularly, but do have one complaint: They allow continual relisting of an item that doesn't sell. Some sellers have an automatic program that lists their hundreds of items (many vitually identical) for one day, then automatically relists them the next day upon their expiration. This keeps their items at the top of both the "ending soonest" and "newest listed", so you have to wade through them over and over to see if anyone has listed a new X, Y, or Z brand of gun.

It is meaningless to have hundreds, nay, tens of thousands, of items listed that have and are going to receive zero bids. Gunbroker needs to change their policy so that only items that are truly intended for sale by auction are listed as auctions. They can create a "window shopping" section elsewhere.

I've noticed what Stonecreek has and my visitation of the site has decreased primarily because of it. If it's something that common and gets few bids, put it in the "store" portion.

Except it provides an advantage for those of us with younger eyes to see those rare sako gems hidden amongst the dross!

Actualy I agree - far too much stuff that's never going to sell
