| Washington ML elk season runs from Oct. 1st - 7th. That's for the east side of the Cascades, not sure about the west. | You can hunt branch antlered bulls 3 pt. or better on the west side. East side is spike only unless you have a cow or bull tag. Same for modern rifle season. | Arizona usually has 4-5 units open on their early controlled hunts. Units rotate so you have to watch the info.
Idaho muzzy hunts are controlled draw, and are in Nov. and Dec. but you can buy a tag over the counter and hunt general rifle with a muzzy. |

| Add Utah, which is a draw and occurs the last week of September. |

| utah's deer ML is the last week of september, the elk is the first week of nov. ie the last regular hunt. unless you draw some special limited entry tag, akin to winning the lotto, you will not be hunting elk in the state of utah with a ML in september!!!!
in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

Idaho Muzzleloader Hunts are not a controlled draw.Over the counter with the permit in certain areas like where I live but they are late hunts in units 14 and 16 and others.Unit 16 is Deer or Elk and 14 is just Elk. Jayco |
