Wis rifle deer season is in full swing during a drive today I shot a nice 17 inch 10 pointer at the totally long distance of 15 feet. I was using my 99 sav in 300 with a 165gr rem corelock at 2350 fps. Dropped him in his tracks. Saturday I shot a small fork at 200 yards laserd with my 06 and a 180 gr serria match king totally destoryed the heart and lungs with about a 2 in exit hole. Caught that one crossing a river. Plenty of more tags to fill and another 6 days to go.

what is the limit on deer in wis?? we can only shoot 2 in MT

This year I had 4 tags plus I can buy two anterless days a day until they run out they haven't ran out the last couple of years. Party hunting is legal. The trick there is to hunt with guys who can't shoot. Our hunting party of 11 had a total of 30 some tags. So long as I can round up some hunting partners I can shoot a lot of deer.
