JameisterNot much to see until you get to Idaho...
except for Yellowstone park (take an overnight there), badlands south dakota, Lead and the Black Hills, Devils Postpile, Tetons, (all drive-bys), and the obligatory drunk in Jackson Hole.
Have a good trip.

SkibumThe Custer Battlefield is worth a stop. Also if you go through Cody the Buffalo Bill Historical Center is excellent.

BALLBUSTERMiles City, Montana get off stop at bottom of ramp at 4B's resturant...great food and the best coconut cream pie in the USA. Been there many times on the way to my kin folks ranch.BB
I would second the stop through Cody and the park!!! Then Take HW 287 back up to the interstate. You'll easily kill a day on that trip. If you have another day to kill and depending on where you are hunting, probably the best ride IMO through MT is HW 83 along the Swan river and circle through Glacier.
Where at in ID will you be hunting?

bbruceThank guy's for the advice. Looks like I'm going to Cody! I'll most likely stop at that resturant too. Never go by a good eating estabishment. The drunk in Jackson hole sounds good to. It is vacation after all. I'm real interested in shooting some praire dogs, if any one help steer me that way I'd be much ablidged
