Too bad they wouldn't investigate Joe and Hunter Biden's corruption that way!

The fact that it took that amount of resources to catch them tells you why most pochers are not caught.

The lack of penelty tells you that it will continue.

Untill these kind of people can lose their right to be in possesion of a weapon outside their house it will continue Smiler

You should read a full account of this saga on Bowsite. Two very lengthy threads with tons of information. This was prosecutorial misconduct, and the hunters were not seeking internet fame. In fact they were both LEO's with solid reputations, but someone with an axe to grind started this farce.
I don't know either of the individuals. It is impossible to know all the details, and nobody is lily white when the proctologist gets done with an exam.
These types of cases result in the loss of confidence in our government / police, which is the most unfortunate result.

You’re spot on. I am close friends with another LEO who knows one of these guys, and he told me yesterday that this case was total bullshit. I also know their defense attorney and am looking forward to discussing her views on this the next time I see her. They had a damn good defense counsel, I do know that.

Is a deer worth more then the cost of a Lic?

Seems to me to be a lot of money spent that could be used for other wildlife projects.
