We hunted with Sugar creek outfitters in western Illinois. They did an unbelievable job with Taylor in every way .She shot a 20 gauge 1187 with Winchester Supremes. 70 yard shot 60 yard recovery .This was a buck they had labeled unkillable they had hunted him hard from 4 1/2 up untill she shot .He had actually slid alot from six 1/2 till 8 1/2 .He was the second heviest deer they ever weighed .I wonder what the big boy looked like. This is a trail camera taken the week before.

I am not sure that hunt will ever be topped in terms of the harvest but her hunts are always the highlight of my year. She was also able to take a doe as well .

Merry Christmas. Woodie

Cool buck... alaways good to see young hunters in the field!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
