Crud! I thought we were going to get to hunt for some ladies. I probably couldn't afford the trophy fee anyway.

Longbob - used to live in Texas, moved to Alaska, can't afford any of the fees you refer to..... [Wink] Seriously, the Sitka Blacktail deer hunting is great and if you're lucky, you might get to have an "up close and personal" visit with mr.brown bear when he hears you ring the dinner bell [Big Grin]

I suspect we could probably make a good deal with your wife for your rifles during the divorce proceedings.....

Although it would be tempting, we wouldn't turn you in, we men have to stick together. Especially nowadays when the ladies are independant enough to go off on hunting trips by themselves. [Big Grin]

of course if you just mailed me your 35 whelen.....

(Sorry Ann I know we are getting off track again)

There is nothing like a good thread hi-jacking. [Big Grin] At least it keeps it at the top.

Ann,

I'm sorry too. I'll leave this thread alone. [Smile]

Hey Long, no problem! TTT works and you guys have kept it clean. Looks like I got a group of rowdy 60 year old lady artists to go on a week's stay. My mom included! So you don't have to hunt but the hunting is very good! I plan to go and check out the hunting!

Hmmmm Longbob

while we are for our respective hunting seasons to open we could start a thread-jacking season...

I'm sure ScottB and maybe Pecos might be game

Ann glad to hear you may be booked, (will you be able to keep up with the ladies? if they are anything like my mother and mother inlaw it might be a challenge)

Ann, it sounds like a very interesting trip, and the price is certainly reasonable.

Holly and I may be interested in going in November. I'll discuss it with her later today and let you know if we have any questions.

I've never been to Alaska before but have always wanted to go. This may be a good way to "break the ice" so to speak and get a look at the place.

Can we do some fishing along with the hunting?
