Free range in far far west Texas. The bull & cow was taken opening weekend of mule deer season and the big 11 point a couple days after.
30 minutes after the 11 point was harvested a bigger buck was wounded and we did all we could to find him. It was sickening to see that
giant get away and I hope it was a non fatal wound so he can live until next season.
The deer weren't moving very much at all during the day with the moon and the weather so it was a very tough season although
a few big bucks hit the ground regardless.
