If you can't find any in NM, check out Palo Duro Canyon or the Davis Mtns. in Texas. They are basicaly free roaming and there is no season. capt david "It's not how hard you hit 'em, it's where you hit 'em." The 30-06 will, with the right bullet, successfully take any game animal in North America up to 300yds. Get closer!

Ooooooookay! Anyway ... if you not a resident of New Mexico, your license cost there will be very high. I can't remember the amount, but it is substantial. These hunts run $1750-$2500 or so in Palo Duro Canyon. A Davis Mtn. hunt will be $2800-$3200. Better quality sheel there. Of course this would be on the evil landowners property.

Ok, I see now that dzpoorjr's line "Kill them all and let God sort them out" is his sig line. I though he was refering to the Landowners. My apologies for the sarcasm.

I just read it and thought the same thing. ____________________________________________ "Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." Terry Pratchett.
