Guys,

I'm writing an article on the caribou of North America for a German magazine, and I'm in need of some quality pictures. I've got a few nice ones, but could do with some more. I'd need actual prints, because the mag's photo dude doesn't wants digitals. Photos of live caribou, dead caribou with proud hunter, things like that. Can anybody help out? I'll pay for expenses of course, and I'll endeavour to get you name mentioned as the photographer in the byline...which is the usual practice in this magazine.

When do you need them? I will be with a friend of mine in AK in a few weeks that has loads of them. I am also going to forward your post on to him.

How soon do I need them....early in September I suppose. The magazine is expecting my article by September 1st, but that is right after the release date of the issue they are currently working on. It is a bi-monthly, so I'm guessing there is some room there...

Have you tried www.trophyphotos.com?
Do a search on caribou. They have e-mail links to the guys who posted the pictures and you could ask if they would send you a copy.
LOTS of very good photos!

Worth a try I guess, if nothing else there are lots of great pictures to look at.

Thanks for the hints. A few of you are going to send some; I got some off the president of APOS (Alberta professional outfitters society), and some off a friend. I hope I'll be fine that way. Though Western bou seems to be overrepresented..and NFL e.g. absent. Need to search some more.

I cant get you any by the first, because that is when my hunt is, but I'm willing to bet I can get you some from our caribou hunt, if you want them, just tell me and I'll ship off a set to you.
