You can use a muzzleloader or rifle in BC from Sept 10 to Dec 15 or so...Some regions vary a bit.

Manitoba has a muzzleloader season open to non-residents from Oct 20 - Nov 8. Generally a good time to hunt in the province. Weather is fairly mild for Manitoba and the pre-rut is just starting to kick in. Plus, many outfitters have only a small number of hunters during the ML season so ML hunters have better access to stand locations and guides.
