Well, I talked to Lora again the other day. She had sent me a magazine with a picture of her cow kissing visitors. Very cute, but I digress.

Lora is taking Randall's ashes to Ireland next week to spread them 1/2 in the Shannon River and 1/2 in the old family cemetery. I believe her daughter is going with her.

Lora is doing pretty good. She had to take a job, obviously, but Mr. Stewart the store owner in town and Randall's former employer is taking good care of her. She works at his store most days. She had Covid last year but seems to be fully recovered.

As for the fishing pond....the city of Olney decided that they wanted a concrete skate park more than a fishing pond. Lora has everything set with the State , but they are still looking for location. The State will provide 100% of the maintenance and stocking for the pond. The issue is finding somewhere that has a somewhat local access for the folks to use. Like she said, "Times are a little different from when we were young and we just rode our bikes to the local fishing hole." The location needs to be close enough that parents can take the kids and family to. With the Olney decision, she is pursuing the city of Newcastle where Randall grew up. So far they seem fairly agreeable, given the caveats above. We will see. We are hopeful.

Well, that about sums it up for now. If anything new happens, I will keep y'all informed.

RWW would have been 71 yesterday, Sept. 10.

He was one of a kind.

Gone but not forgotten.

I am very happy to hear Ms. Weems is doing so well. Tell here we remember her husband and her still.

I few guys on here use the aviator or picture CH used. When I see it, I have to look hard because my mind tells me it is CH.

I absolutely think the same thing when I see the avatar CHC had. Have to double take the poster.

Thanks for the update. I am glad Lora is doing ok. Lora went out of her way to make my wife feel comfortable when we hunted with Randall.

CH was one of a kind for sure, I miss his presence here..
