Best way to use up 10 elk PP?

I want to use my preference points on elk this year and I'm kind of in that no man's land on them. The main reason I want to use them is my daughter can now hunt with me and I don't want to have to hunt two different seasons all the time. I'd rather not burn them in a low point unit as well just to get rid of them. I'm thinking a muzzle loader or late rifle hunt will give me the best chance at a good unit with 10 points.

Any suggestions?

Ten points are not enough to guarantee a non-resident a bull tag in most of our units.

I'm in Colorado, thought I still had that in my profile.

Thanks for clearing that up Ted.

Couldn't tell ya. I've got 20 points this year and I'm hoping it will be enough to finally get me the early season either sex tag for unit 2. I thought I'd get it last year but 19 still didn't do it and I'm a CO resident!

I don't think 10 Points for unit 61 would be a given...............

Here are some draw odds I found for Unit 61, 1st rifle season, for Colorado residents:

2009: 42% drew with 9 points
2010: 11% drew with 9 points
2011: 49% drew with 10 points
2012: 5% drew with 10 points
2013: 79% drew with 11 points

Thanks for the replies, kind of hectic right now I'm on my annual training for the army until the 18. Then I have to get busy when I get back with my training program at work, that I was scrambling to get my mandatory trips in before my AT began. Anyway just running short on time and need to make a decision. The next problem after making my decision will be scouting the area as my job doesn't give much time for that as I'm on call 24/7.

Damn!
I thought Oregon was the worst but Colorado is almost as bad when it comes to preference points.
I also now have 14 preference points for elk here in Oregon.
