LaCrosse Icemna or Icekings. I used to live in northern Mn and this was the "standard" boot for anything outdoors between about oh, Sept 5 and May 15.

LaCrosse ICEMAN boots, are the ONLY boot my feet have never been cold in after 8 hours out in the snow and cold.
They are heavy. They are not a boot you want tothinkabout heading off for a 10 mile trek in. BUT if you are going to be on a stand or just moving a little and standing a lot, you will keep your feet warm. I have done -10 to -20 all day long outside in them and have been fine.

For any boots I wear where warmth is an issue...
What I do though to beat the foot persperation problems that cause cold because the moisture makes you feet cold is,
put on a normal pair of sport type socks, then I put on a pair of Rocky goretex oversocks, then another pair of socks. The goretex socks let the moisture out away from your foot and keeps it drier and warmer.

Picked up a pair of Rocky Bear Claw, 1000gr thinsulate yesterday at Dicks on sale for $129. So far I absolutely love them, They're about 2 pounds each, Mossy Oak camo pattern, and incredible traction. Playing with my dog in the yard last night, She was sliding on the snow more than I was.

If they're not warm enough I'll ask for the insulated boot covers for my birthday.
