All:

I need recommendations on a pheasant hunt for about 6-8 guys. Probably looking at a 3 day hunt all-inclusive for some business associates. Looking for lodging all meals and transportation to and from the hunting/fishing areas. I was thinking of something along the lnes of hunting until we reached our limit and then walleye fishing in the afternoons or maybe even geese/duck hunting in the afternoon or vise versa. Don't necessarily need to have two activities planned but I don't want to shoot our pheasant limit within 3-4 hours and then sit around the rest of the day playing cards or doing what ever.

Thanks for all the suggestions/recommendations in advance.

We have done several family hunts with Ringneck Ranch in Tipton, Kansas. Kieth, Deb, and crew are great people, have great accomodations, and a good mix of wild and farmed birds. Their web site is www.ringneckranch.net.

Hi All,

I've been looking at some of these and they seem really expensive by UK standards for 15 pheasants. Has anyone ever looked into pheasant hunting in the UK?

It wouldn't be feasable for a short break but if anyone is in the UK between Nov and end of Jan then it should be possible to get out and shoot a few pheasants.

for about half the price of a 3 day hunt you could go out with 7-8 others and shoot a total bag of 200+ good high driven pheasants.

When I lived in England back in the mid-'80s I had the opportunity to hunt a lot of pheasants but I only did one driven-pheasant hunt and it was great fun. The 10 guns killed over 200 pheasant plus ducks, grouse and hare. I highly recommend it; I'd sure like to do it again one day.
