Hey guys. I'm not on outfitter, but I am shooting a pilot for a new TV show in Southern Manitoba Next week. The outfitter is Silver Birch Outfitters out of Sprague Manitoba just north of the Minnesota border. Normally he is sold out years ahead of time, but he Department of Natural Resources just increased his quota last week. Season closes Friday next week and he now has two extra tags available with little hope of filling them. Since I am going to be in camp with with two of my prostaff, I figured I'd help him out and post them. He had to pay for them in order to secure them for next year and subsequent season, so he would like to cover his costs at least.

He said I could post them at $1200. This covers accomodations in a cabin and you would be responsible for you own food. You can use rifle, bow or muzzle loader. There is full cooking and bedding etc. in the cabin. You'd have to be able to arrive by plane in Winnipeg by Monday. I could pick up whoever wanted with their gear and they could come out with me.

I'm not sure the arrangements yet, but you would likely stay with us in our cabin, and you could share our grub, etc. I don't even know at this point if he has multiple cabins or not, so maybe that would be the plan all along. It would be nice if you let us flim you for the pilot as well - that is if you don't mind being on TV.

I PMed you, and I thought I called you back. February is too long to remember. I would have liked to have had a drink with you at the SHOW. Crazy down there eh? I got lost on more than one occassion trying to find my way to and from places, and it was my second year there! Keep in touch and maybe we'll hook up yet!

I'll be back again this upcoming year. SHOT and SCI are on different weeks so at least it won't be as crazy as last.

I checked for flights out of Cincinnati for Sunday and Monday and they are a bit higher than I like to pay. $979.

I wish I had known about this earlier, but I understand the circumstance.

Try Northwest air. Even if you get there on Tuesday or Wednesday morning you'd get three days, which is usually good enough for a good bear. I know, it's a little late huh? Hell man, I just thought I'd throw it out there.
