What do you mean "what a lousy way for that bull to die"? That is nature at her finest, to noble creatures fighting for the right to breed.

Yeah, I know all of that, but given all of the choices that nature has to offer, I think this is one of the "less desirable" ways.

A quick death is what we always strive for while hunting, so a long suffering death, as this one appears to be, is just counter to what I like to see happen.
