Utah governor signs bills to fund coyote killings. Programs aim to increase the killing of predators in order to restore deer herds.

Nothing wrong with shooting coyotes, but developers have to quit buildng houses on their winter range, or get used to smaller deer populations.

In the short term it will, but coyotes will step up the pup crop to fill empty habitat.
I think as long as you keep the pounding on them to keep the populations down, the deer herd will grow.
