talked to the presedent today and he did some reserch and sent me this email ..... hope no one wants a browning left hand 270wsm any time soon

Dear Mr. Whyte:
I have received your message and would like to talk to you about your problem. We did not know that the WSM would be available in left hand models until the Sales Meeting the end of October 2002. At this time they introduced the WSM and the WSSM and added the left hand to some of the WSM calibers. We will not be producing this gun until late in 2003. We never know what is coming out from year to year and are always being asked we can only give a guess on what the past has been and they have not made many of the left hand models so our guess this time was wrong sorry.


The rebate that you have sent in: I have the girl who is in charge of that researching your paperwork and will let you know what I find out.

I put a LH Model 70 Feather Weight on order with a local gun shop last week. The owner contacted the Winchester sales rep and was told that this rifle will not be available for 5 months at best. This is just how it goes. I want this gun so I will wait. This is not unusual for any manufacturer that introduces a new product.
