Hi Guys,

The draw for Oregon big game is still a few days away, but in anticipation I've been doing a little thinking and wondering.

I used to spend a little time out around Summer Lake and the Warner Valley. Beautiful country and I always told myself I'd be happier than a clam was I born into a ranch or farm family right there in a place like Plush Oregon.

I am under the impression that I have enough bonus points to draw a deer tag this year and was wondering how things are down there these days. I know that at one time as an example hunting zones like "Whitehorse" were said to hold big bucks but not many of them and "Steens Mountain" was the place to draw.

Anyhow, I was just curious what any of you Oregonians thought about conditions these days out east. Thanks for your time.
