Well, another spring is here and I just found out I failed to draw my Colorado Bighorn Sheep tag again. This makes 17 years in a row now.

I drew the tag in 1986 and was way too selective and failed to fill it. This was after I let several 3/4 curl rams walk away. But back then, it wasn't too hard to get the tag. I sure wish I could do that hunt over. I was young, full of energy and confidence. The mountains didn't seem quite so high back then and I believe the ground was softer too.

Maybe I'll have better luck next spring. Anybody else finding out if they drew anything yet?

Sorry to hear, Mac! I too am waiting, hoping to draw antelope in Wyoming and moose in New Brunswick. Should know about the mooose by May 10th. They sure make you wait on the speed goat though. Have to wait until July on that one.
