Check the "Gunsmith" forum for a recent thread on the 7x64 by "Cobalt". He just finished a 9.3x64 and the two of you could get together and share some reloading from the start.

According to "Ladeboken", 62 gr of Norma 202 will give you 2561 fps with a 250 gr Barnes X.
And 66 gr of N150 will give you 2578 fps with the same bullet.
Moving up to Swift 300 gr; 73 gr of Norma 204 will give you 2487 fps, and 75 gr will give you 2552 fps.
Start low an look for pressure signs.
Rumors say that one should use only premium bullets in this calibre.

I like the Dakota action but the stock does not fit me, it is too stright to use with irons and should bring all the recoil stright back and thats the preached culture these days...I like a little drop and split that recoil up with some up and some back fits me better and I want to be able to shoot the iron sights....
The Dakota is for sale and it sure is a pretty rifle with nice English xxxx wood. I'm almost tempted to have it rebarreled to a 505 Gibbs, and take a rasp to the comb. HELP ME! the devil is working on me again.
