Let me be the first to say NICE BUCK!
He looks only 20" wide but he must be 24" tall or more and lots of mass and extra points, very nice.
I'd sure like to see a side view picture if you have one to post.
What part of the eastern plains were you in?
Nice Buck!

Nice buck with lots of character!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Damn Flaco, thats an AWESOME buck! Congrats!

For anybody that cares, the guy on the left in the picture is one of the best I have ever seen at getting big mule deer bucks dead. He taught me a lot when we guided together on the plains.

Maybe one day he will tell everybody the story about the legend in Sonora, it has to do with a tall gringo with a big mustach. Those were the days when it was FUN!

Congrats again bud, dont be a stranger.

i grunted the buck to a broadside stop at 40, he locked up looking at us and with 8 inches of buck fever the arrow took out the jugular where his head joins the neck.very lucky we didn't have a wounded deer on our hands.

Joe,

I guess you figured out how to post pics. For everybody else I'm Joe's neighbor and I have to listen to this BS all the time. "I killed a huge this and I killed a huge that" F#%& it really gets boring after awhile. Of course there is payback and he has to listen to me ramble on about Africa.

Seriously I think Joe knows his stuff and I'm pretty confident a guy would get his trophy with him if he did his part. Nice buck!
