I'm a little bored on a quiet Sunday night here so I thought I would put up a few pictures of my whitetails and a few friends I guided from past years. Feel free to add your own. Still a long way out till the season again. Got to go shed hunting just to keep the itch away!!

Too bad the bucks where you hunt do not have decent mass, otherwise those would be some exceptional deer. Eeker

All kidding aside, the mass on those deer is awesome.

Nube, I noticed a shotgun in a photo or 2. Are there shotgun only areas in Alberta?

Thanks for the happy B-day Dino. I'm old now.lol

Biebs, there are a couple areas in Alberta that you can shotgun hunt. I live in one of them. It surrounds Edmonton. On one side is the famous Bow Zone that you can hunt archery and the other side of Edmonton you can hunt Muzzleloader, shotgun and Archery. There are some big deer around here. Hard part is getting permission to hunt on a decent chunk of land.

No it's not a snare. It got tangled up in an electric fence it looks like. Amazing he got away. When I shot him I thought I had just killed a 240" buck because he had branches and all kinds of stuff hanging off the wire. I was pretty ticked off when I walked up to him and he shrunk so much.hahaha I wish I would have kept all the branches on it for the picture.
