has anyone ever hunted in really nasty weather with a Shepard scope? I'm wondering if they are equal to a leupold or if they're like a tasco.

I never have, but a friend whose opinion I trust swears by them

I have three of them and I'd hunt with them in a hurricane if I had to.

I have two never would buy another one nothing but trouble. Sent one back took them a year and half to return it. Robert if you want I well sell them to you are a very reasonable price.

I tried severall of them and they came apart on my big bores plenty quick...My call: if its too good to be true, it probably is. All their claims sound good, but in reality they just didn't cut it.
