Montana berry picker shoots grizzly in self defense.

A female grizzly bear attacked a 72-year-old Montana man while he was picking huckleberries, which forced him to shoot and kill her with a handgun.

On Thursday, the unidentified Columbia Falls resident was in the Flathead National Forest near the North Fork Road in northwestern Montana when the grizzly charged and attacked him, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials announced Friday.

I'm going up to Estes Park this coming weekend to fly fish. Not camping. I will camp in Sept. I checked out the firearms regulations. If you have a Colorado concealed carry permit no problem. This is the excerpt I think p dog would appreciate.

The government agency's all follow the same tune. it is hard to tell any of their bear statements apart.

But then I would agree firearms do not protect wildlife.

They are a human protection strategy. They are used to protect humans very nicely.
