Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

not alot to tell really.
partner and I had late season cow tags.
Season closes a day later.
Rode out at daylight and spotted 90 head.
Made a run on them and got to 317yds.
7STW and a 338, I believe we fired 3 shots
and had WAY more horseflesh than needed.
Good day on the Mt.

Joe,

Nice looking string you and your friend have there. Did you shot a wolf yet, you still have a few days left?

Merry Christmas

Unless it is a hunter in blaze orange, look straight behind the elk in the first picture, looking back uphill into the timber.

I see it now, last night was looking on my tablet and it was too small to see! Chili and snow go so well together!
