Harold,

Congrats on a fun hunt!

How have the weather conditions been over the Spring around Dilly? I took a spike and a 200+ pound piggie there in February and hope to go back in the fall.

Did you call in the coyote or did he just happen by?

Mike

The weather this weekend was varied. We had a cold front come through around 1:30 Friday mourning. was expecting a good rain event, but only got a lot of wind and just enough moisture to mess the windshields up on the pickups. Saturday mourning it was in the upper 30's, Saturday afternoon it was in the mid 90's. there was about a 60 degree temperature spread that day.

It has been really dry for a while, what rain they have gotten gets dried out fairly quickly with the wind. Cattle are munching on cacti and hitting the feeders also.

Coyote was just on opportunity shot. To many people calling from time to time has them educated to calls. Only the young ones will come to a call anymore. There are a couple of ambush spots a few of us try from time to time on trails, but we have to set up 300/400 yards to even get a shot.
