Just an FYI. It seems that Bass Pro has closed most of its Gunsmith shops and their Fine Gun Rooms (used guns). I think they kept the Springfield and Denver smiths and rooms open. Bfly Work hard and be nice, you never have enough time or friends.

Okay with me. The stuff in the one in Grapevine, Texas was all way overpriced, and they didn't actually want you to handle any of the guns. LWD

I visited the one in San Antonio and I agree: most of the guns were overpriced. However, I was asked no less than five times, "Do you want to see that gun?" or "Do you want to have a closer look at that gun?" I found the staff very helpful and attentive even though I was just looking.

I quit using the BPS gunsmith in Las Vegas when he took 18 months to glass-bed a rifle, and then got pissy when I wasn't thrilled about it. And I have several things I'd love to SELL them at the prices they're asking... ______________________ RMEF Life Member SCI DRSS Chapuis 9,3/9,3 + 20/20 Simson 12/12/9,3 Zoli 7x57R/12 Kreighoff .470/.470 We band of 9,3ers!
