Has anyone hunted elk with Virgil and Barbara Burns at the Bob Marshall Wilderness ranch? I am interested in your experiences good or bad, but please, no public bashing. Send any negatives via pm.

OK...does anyone know of a web site where outfits are rated? I read a thread here a few weeks ago and a site was linked wherein guys could rate their experiences with a particular outfit. It involved the allegation that a guy was operating under his mother's license or something.

I haven't hunted with these guys, but I have hunted the Bob Marshall. It's hard hunting but great country. The elk that survive the grizzlies, cougars, wolves and winters can get to be really nice sized, but in my experience they're pretty few and far between.

Might want to contact Rich Elliot from AR... he hunts The Bob about every year for elk. A great wilderness area for sure.
