Might be visiting Dallas early 2017 and thinking of attending DSC while staying there, probably a couple of nights. Checked some of the convention hotels on DSC's website, but they don't appeal. I'm more of a tent camp guy than upmarket hunting lodge ( or, in other words, cheap ). Can anybody suggest modestly priced lodging, if such a thing exists, that's not expedition distance from Kay Bailey Convention Centre ? Thanks Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing. | ||

They have a central booking site for hotels/motels. The thing about these are the convenience. These places usually have a shuttle running between the place and the convention center and they run for free and usually run every 15-20 minutes. You can go to a site like Hotwire.com and search the downtown Dallas and surrounding areas for hotels in any price range you want. As mentioned, many have a daily shuttle to the Convention Center. | |||
