I had a spooky experience while using one of the new pop-up camo hunting blinds. It seems that when the light was right, my face was kind of bright looking thru the window opening and a hunter across the valley saw it and looked my way thru his scope. It spooked him almost as much as me when he realized he was looking at a person thru his scope. After that I started putting my vest on top of the blind, so the blaze orange was visible from all directions. Just thought I would give a heads-up in case anyone else was using these blinds. I bought one of the Penthouse pop-ups and I knew, then, that I'd get one of the blaze-orange "caps" that go on top of it. They just didn't have any on hand, that I saw, at the time. Thanks for sharing the story. Good advice, too. Russ

You know, this post brings up another good point... That being, use binoculars and NOT your scope for "glassing". I admit, I've done it, and probably most everyone has, but a trip back to the basics of hunting saftey is always good for all of us... and humbling too... Dave
