I went hunting in Wyoming for antelope with a friend and we both were succesful. My rifle was a .270 loaded with 59 grains of H4831 under a 130 grain Hornady spire point. His a 308 winchester loaded with 150 grain Power Point factory loads. His bullet hit just under the shoulder blade behind the bone and cut a hole around 2 inches all the way thru to exit a little farther back on the other side. My hit was a low center neck hit just in front of the shoulder blade that removed all tissue under the spine in a 6 inch circle looking like an alligator took a big bite out of the neck. Both ran about 50 yards, his hit at 125 yards and mine at 250.
