Hey, Ya'll are a bunch of dumbasses who be criticizing someones loaner rifle. Here is the scoop- If you have an opportunity to pick up a gun that you will probably not shoot much because you have better rifles in that caliber, you can get it with a clear conscience because it is a "loaner rifle". Now you can justify spending some time developing a load for it and have it sit in the back of the safe for several years while the 100 rounds you loaded for it sit there with it.

I'd vote for 180 grain Partitions also. If you did not have Elk and Moose I'd say go 150 grains but I would rather use a larger bullet than a faster bullet.

Oh, and if you do loan this gun to someone, that is a cool thing to do.
