Just wondering what the measurement my be behind the shoulder, for ranging purposes. Thanks | ||

Hi Rembo, I've checked that measurement a couple of times on adult cows here in ontario and they were about 39 inches from the top of the hump to the brisket. Fyi- bulls were about 48" This is a measurement of the widest (tallest) area of the chest right in the middle of the hump. I don't know were you are hunting but I would expect alaskan moose to be bigger and shiras to be smaller than our ontario variety. | |||
