Nice Moose!

Holy mass, that's about the thickest rack I've seen.

Good Gosh, is that a Georgia buck? Boone and Crockett for sure! What was the spread? Let us know what he scores.

this dear was taken by a friend of mine in Alberta, Canada. It had a gross-score of 225 inches and a net score of 208 inches. It was taken in early May this year. I believe it set a new Pope and young record, but I am not positive. I just learned how to post pictures and was eager to post these. Here is a pic of the mount.

Never seen anyone try to make a mounted deer head look like a kill site photo.

Either that or it's the only dead buck I've ever seen that could still hold it's ears erect.

"....It was taken in early May this year...."???

Bucks 'round these parts have little bitty nubbins in early May. Never heard tell of a May bow season in North America.

Just the same, it is an awesome buck.

I may have fudged the month by mistake. I'll get back to you on when it was killed. I'll probably talk to him sometime this week.

This buck was shot by Wayne Zaft in Oct. 2001. It will be the new P&Y #1 and is expected to go #2 B&C above the famous "Jordan Buck". Zaft has his own website at www.zaftbuck.com

Brian-
The hunter had to get a field pic in that Mossy Oak Camo garb for some reason [Wink] and maybe he didn't own any until after the buck was mounted.

If the buck was killed in May, maybe the hunter was wearing his pastel spring floral camo.
