do you know where this game cam pic was taken?

This may have gone around already, a friend emailed it to me:

I'm not buying it.....

The cat is FAR to close to the deer for a pounce. Also, the cat is behind the deer, where the deer just walked. Doesn't match cat behavior.

My guess is two full body mounts in the woods.... JMO, Dutch.

Looks kind of strange because the cats ears are up. Don't they usually lay their ears back before attacking? Even if it is a set-up it is still imaginative and very cool to look at.

There is a pretty good discussion about these pictures on jesses hunting page. Seems they may be fake.

In a similar situation, shouldn't the deer's tail be up and flashing ???

That's a short deer following that buck.

On further thought shouldn't there be a follow up picture somewhere with a bunch of hair on the ground at the least, if not a partially eaten carcass?
