I enjoy reading your post..they seem to run close to my own in hunting and guns.....But you must be the only............... hunter, non bunny hugger, Rifle shootin, ass kicking Guy left in NYC. From reading your post I would have thought you were from Out west or down south. Well maybe even one of those mid west states even...but not from around Chicago or Detroit. How did you turn out to be normal comming from that enviroment.

I am not busting your chops either. I really want to know?

I was born and raised in NYC; no one in my family owned guns or hunted. I never read O'Connor or Keith or any gun rags or hunting books until I was 19. It was just something I always wanted to do.

Due to a well-paying job and understanding spouse (my first one didn't understand very well; I got rid of her!), I have been fortunate enough to hunt a lot: ME, NY, PA, GA, SC, MO, TX, WY, MT, and Alberta, plus four safaris to Africa.

All the (non-hunting) people I know ask me the same question: how did I 'grow up' to be a hunter, with no familial influences? Don't know, beyond that it just feels right.

Making Todd E/Axel/SRS/NRAChick's list is no difficult task; it just requires the ability to detect bullshit and confront the one spewing it.
