Thanks guys.

The 8-point was taken by one of our group of 5 guys that grew up on neighboring farms. We've been hunting together for over 40 years. We hunt out of our cabin on land another member and I purchased 11 years ago.

The Manitoba buck was taken by my partner's son the week before the Wisconsin opener. They ran into some pretty vicious weather. Bitterly cold and blizzard conditions with 50 mph winds. The outfitter moved them from the lodge into hotels in town because roads were closing. In fact they left Canada early for fear of getting stuck there for awhile. The young lad took this buck the day before they left. He lost his "edge" a bit for the hunt in Wisconsin! My partner is going back to the same place next year.....he was very impressed with the people and the experience.....even with the weather. That's something you can't plan on.....you work around it.

Pretty good year.

Great buck and super mass on the big deer...wow! Congrats!
