Looking for some BLM or State ground in Montana for a late season Mule Deer hunt.. Any tips would be appreciated..

Hill and Blaine Counties have been crawling with very nice deer, both on state and federal land.

I believe the block management program is still in place. It provides free access to private lands. You can (at least, you used to be able to) get a list of participating ranches at the game & fish offices.
