As VarmintGuy said, very dependable rifles! Have put over 13,500 rounds thru one pre 64 National Match in 30-06 with no mechanical failures (other than barrels ); and I purchased it used so have no idea as to number of rounds the action actually has through it.

The factory rifles have triggers adjusted, glass bedding, and 8 X 40 scope base screws by me or the smith. They get the treatment right out of the box and I have never had any Winchester lemons yet.
I think your sample is biased in that only Win 70 owners are replying. For balance - I own NO Win 70s, and do not plan on ever owning a Win 70 thank you.
Any other Win 70 NONowners out there?

If it didn't apply, why waste your time to post? If you read the original post, it doesn't ask for a actual count of weapons, but rather, how many of us Model 70 owner's are on AR. If people want post how many Mod 70's they own, so be it.....And your point?
Don't know how many I own. My psnl favorites are pre-64 westerner in 264 - "The meat rifle" pre-64 varmit in 243 - "Prarie rat special" push feed carbine in 223 - gen purpose work rifle Super grade classic in 300 WM - If the 264 ever wears out it may become the new meat rifle.
put me down for 2: PF 264wm xtr and a Classic Fajen special edition in 300 win mag if I had a camera and the know how i'd post a picture it's a beautiful piece.
